Actor Parag Tyagi, Shefali Jariwala’s husband, was spotted out with their pet dog just hours after Shefali’s untimely death last month. The video quickly gained widespread attention on social media, with some ridiculing and questioning Parag’s behaviour after his wife passed away. He was even referred to as “insensitive” by several. A close friend of both Parag and Shefali, Paras Chhabra, has now spoken out about the viral video and described the emotional fallout. Addressing the criticism around the viral video, Paras asked everyone to comprehend Parag’s mental state during an interview with IANS. He said that because Shefali and her dog were so close, Parag’s duty to him grew even greater when she passed away.

According to Paras, Shefali and Parag were very close to their pet. He was like a family member to them. “Three members were living together in a house, and one of them is suddenly gone. In such a situation, you should understand Parag’s mental state,” he added.
Paras also said that during this time Parag would want to keep him even closer to his heart. He said that Parag had a sense of fear and longing at the same time after Shefali’s death.
People might think it’s strange, but since I know them closely, I understood his psychology. Moreover, their pet has grown old and cannot see properly. So, Parag’s responsibility towards him increases even more,” Paras said.
The Bigg Boss 13 contestant went on to say that dogs are quite perceptive and can feel when something is off in their environment.
