Due to the tension between India and Pakistan, the Bollywood industry has decided to boycott all Pakistani actors. As Turkey showed support for Pakistan amidst the tense situation, this actress got an offer from Turkey.

Now, many Indian celebrities are voicing their opposition to Turkey. However, this actress has rejected her offer as the tension between the two countries is still not finished.
Payal Ghosh
The actress we are talking about is Payal Ghosh. She was born in 1992 in Kolkata, West Bengal. Payal made her debut in 2009 with the Telugu film Prayanam, opposite Manchu Manoj.
Offered Rs 35 lakh
Recently, Payal revealed that she had cancelled her trip to Turkey and was offered Rs 35 lakh. Payal stated that “backstabbing and tourism can’t coexist,” referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s words that blood and water cannot flow simultaneously.
Interview with IANS
In an interview with IANS, Ghosh said, “Well, no amount of money can come ahead of the country’s respect and pride. I am an Indian first and an actress or artist later. Like our honourable Prime Minister mentioned that blood and water can’t flow together; similarly, backstabbing and tourist visits and entertainment can’t happen together.”
Payal shared
She added, “If Turkey chose to be sided alongside Pakistan at a crucial time like that, they cannot expect revenue from our appearances as celebrities or from Indians and their tourism plans”
Turkey trip
Payal further said, “ I am very clear in my head, and that’s why I have chosen to cancel my Turkey visit. God has been kind enough to bless me with what I need. I can’t place my country as secondary for money. Jai Hind.”
Against India
However, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has appealed to Indian film producers to reconsider choosing Turkey as a shooting location, amid Turkey supporting Pakistan in the war against India.
