The actress, speaking to Aaj Tak revealed how producer Rajan Shahi had approached her for the show, but she could not take it up as she was busy with other things. ”Yes, that’s true. Mujhe phone aaya tha Rajan ji ke yahan se, unke office se. Par uss time main OTT kar rahi thi, kuch kuch cheezein life mein chal rahi thi toh maine kaha ke abhi nahi, thode din baad kar paungi, says Rukshar.

The actress even said that she had no idea that the show would become so successful. Rukshar says, ”But kisi ko maalum thodi hota hai ke woh show itna bada bann jayega ya itni success karega. Agar aisa hota phir toh pehle se hi pata chal jaye insaan ko but yeah I mean, aur kuch achha hoga.

Rukshar had run away from her house at the age of 19, with her 8 month old daughter. She worked hard to make her name in the industry. She is a mother to daughter Aisha Ahmad, who is also an actress.
