Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan Khan have ventured into the premium spirits industry with their brand D’Yavol. Launched in 2023, D’Yavol introduced its flagship product, D’Yavol Inception, a blended malt Scotch whisky. Well, it has achieved a major victory this year at the Berlin International Spirits Competition. This prestigious competition is judged only by real estate buyers, beverage directors and retail experts from across the continent.
D’Yavol has secured a Gold Medal (95 points) at the Berlin International Spirits Competition (BISC) 2025, further cementing Inception’s status as one of the world’s finest Scotch whiskies. After bagging this major victory, D’Yavol’s co-founder and superstar Shah Rukh Khan said, “Consistent recognitions like these fuels our drive to keep pushing boundaries and setting new standards. It’s always rewarding to see our efforts acknowledged on a global stage.” In addition to this, D’Yavol’s Single Estate Vodka has also secured a Silver medal (93 points).

Last year, in November, Shah Rukh Khan and Aaryan khan’s flagship whisky, Inception, was named the ‘Best Overall Scotch’ as well as the ‘Best Of Class’ Blended Malt Scotch Whisky at the 2024 New York World Spirits Competition (NYWSC). Inception is crafted from 8 rare single malts sourced from Speyside, Highland, Lowland, and Island regions which are aged up to 12 years. It’s taste offers layers of dark chocolate, dried fruit, and oak spice with subtle notes of smoked wood, ripe plums, spiced vanilla, and a gentle smokiness. It gives a very warm finishing with a persisting notes of spice and caramel.
