After a few months of waiting, the new movie ‘Oru Korea Padam’ will reach the theatres in a couple of weeks. Directed by debutante Sujith S Nair, the movie carries a tag line ‘This is not a robbed story, but one about those who robbed stories’.
The movie will have ‘Matinee’ fame Mabool Salman in the lead. Mithra Kurien comes up in the female lead of the movie which will also feature Chemban Vinod, Sunil Sugatha, Tini Tom, Mamukoya, Noby, Basil, Nadhu and Indrans in other prominent roles.
The movie has Mabool Salman cast as Kishore an associate director to famous director Vijyan. Koshore who is in love with a girl realises unless he graduates an as independent director, he will be to able to marry the lady of her dreams. He starts writing a story ad within months manages to create a film of his own, which becomes a surprise hit with the masses. Kishore is in cloud nine and is getting ready to celebrate the success.
Now the story shifts to Korea where Jawan-Ki-Jin a Korean director is facing debts following the unexpected failure of his film which he produced. From the scribbling of a face book friend, he realises that a film maker down south India has stealed his story to make a hit film in Kerala.The movie takes a turn as Jawan-Ki Jin tracks down to Kerala and lands here demanding crores of rupees as a compensation for copying his film without his permission.
The famous directors of Mollywood Lijo Jose Pelliserry, Joy Mathew, Deephan, Saji Surendran, and M A Nishad are also part of the cast of the movie which will feature stage artist Jawang as the Korean director. Produced by S Murugan and Selvan Thamalam, the movie is cinematographed by Vipin Chandran. P N Ajayakumar pens the dialogues for the scripts by the director. Pradeep Shankar does the editing while Sreekumar Vasudev handles the music section.
Distributed by Kaleeswari films, the movie which is a satire will be on theatres, this November.
