In India, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) is revered. In the rat race of achieving a seat here, the competition is extremely tough with lakhs of student appearing for the same place. While some cross the finish line, some are left behind by a whisker. But not for Pulkit Kejriwal.
This boy secured about 96.4 percent in his class 12 boards from Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) in 2019. “With God’s grace and well-wishers’ blessings son has secured 96.4 percentile in CBSE Class XII. In high gratitude,” Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal shared on x (formerly Twitter) after the results were declared.
Further, he was able to successfully crack JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams getting him a place in IIT Delhi. He further took up B.Tech engineering here.
For Pulkit, academic excellence runs in his blood. His parents, Arvind Kejriwal (Delhi’s former Chief Minister) and mother Sunita Kejriwal, are both former Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officers. The legacy continued with his elder sister Harshita Kejriwal who secured 98 percent in her Class 10 board exams and 96 percent in Class 12 examination. Following her father’s footsteps she passed the IIT-JEE Advanced exam. She secured an All-India Rank of 3322.
Speaking of Delhi’s former CM, he had cleared both the IIT-JEE and the UPSC Civil Services Examination. Reportedly, he pursued Mechanical Engineering degree from IIT Kharagpur. He got into IRS before establishing himself in the Indian politics founding Aam Aadami Party (AAP).
Reportedly, Pulkit Kejriwal is working FinMechanic, a finance company. The Kejriwals have a legacy of exceptional academic excellence and it goes on to show how.
The pursuit for academic excellence does not come easy. It takes the student’s blood and sweat. A dedicated routine, dexterity in work, resolution to achieve a target, and consistent pattern paves the path to success.
