Nikhil Meswani’s Role In Reliance
Nikhil is the son of Rasikbhai Meswani, who also played a big role in Reliance’s early days. He was one of Mukesh Ambani’s first mentors. Rasikbhai was a nephew of Dhirubhai Ambani and helped in the growth of Reliance’s polyester business.
Nikhil joined Reliance in 1986 and, by 1988, became a Whole-time Director on the company’s board, serving as an Executive Director. Like Mukesh Ambani, he began his career as a project officer through the ranks. His expertise in petrochemicals helped Reliance in its global expansion.
