Sanjay Kapur’s prayer meet: Karisma Kapoor looks devastated, Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan offer condolences in viral video
On Sunday, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan arrived in Delhi to attend the prayer meet held by the Sunjay Kapur family, which was held at the Taj Palace Hotel.
Karisma Kapoor‘s ex-husband, Sanjay Kapur, died due to a heart attack while playing a polo match in England on June 12. He died at the age of 53. His body was brought back to India, and his funeral was held on June 19 at the Lodhi Road Cremation Ground, New Delhi.

Karisma Kapoor and Sanjay Kapur got married in 2003 and were later confirmed divorced in 2016. The two have two children together. Karisma, along with her two children, her sister Kareena Kapoor and brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan, came to attend a prayer held by Sanjay’s family in honour of him in Delhi on Sunday.

Earlier, Karisma was seen at the Mumbai airport with her and Sanjay’s kids, Samaira and Kiaan. Later, Kareen and Said were also spotted. The family arrived in Delhi on Sunday evening for the prayer meeting, which was held at the Taj Palace Hotel.
Inside Sanjay Kapur’s prayer hall
Inside the prayer hall, a video shows many people gathering inside the prayer hall to show respect for the departed soul and Kareen and Saif were also seen in the video. A large photo of Sanjay Kapur adorned with flowers is seen, where everyone is paying homage.
Sanjay died due to a heart attack on June 12. His funeral was held on June 19 at the Lodhi Road Cremation Ground, New Delhi, and a prayer meet is being held on Sunday at the Taj Palace Hotel.
Sanjay Kapur and Karisma Kapoor married in 2003 and have two children named Samaira and Kiaan. However, their marriage ended in divorce, and Karisma won the legal custody to keep the kids with her and Sanjay was allowed to visit them. Later, Sanjay married Priya Sachdev in 2017.
