Apart from being highest revenue earner for the Railways, the New Delhi railway station is also one of the busiest in the country, ferrying a staggering 39,362,272 in FY 23-24.
West Bengal’s Howrah Railway Station ranks second on the list of richest railway stations in India, bringing in an impressive Rs 1692 crore in the last fiscal.
Chennai Central (MGR station) and Vijayawada Railway Station are also ranked among the top earners for the Indian Railways.
