HIT 3 and Retro in Hindi: Here’s why Nani and Suriya’s films are missing from multiplexes

HIT: The Third Case and Retro have been released on May 1 and these films are the much-anticipated releases of the year. Nani and Suriya’s films have generated strong buzz among audiences. Fans are quite excited to watch the films on the big screens. But, as the films are released, it appears the two movies are facing a common issue.
As per reports by 123 Telugu, Nani’s starrer HIT 3 and Suriya’s film Retro will not have their Hindi versions screened in national multiplexes. Yes, you read that right! Well, both film have broken the four-week window between theatrical and OTT releases. The films could premiere online before completing a full four-week run in cinemas. Due to this, their box office success will depend on single-screen performances.
Talking about Nani’s film HIT 3, the movie has been performing well in theaters and fans are in love with the cop action drama. Nani was appreciated and praised for his exceptional performances in Sailesh Kolanu’s directorial. Nani’s HIT 3’s rights have been sold to Netflix and the audience can stream the film on OTT platform. The film has been missing in Hindi versions from major cinema chains in North India. Apart from Nani, HIT 3 also stars Srinidhi Shetty, Rao Ramesh, Prateik Babbar, Adivi Sesh and more in main roles.
On the other hand, Suriya’s Retro has opened on a positive note. Fans are busy grooving to Kanimaa tune. Filmmakers Lokesh Kanagaraj and Karthik Subbaraj attended the FDFS. The film’s OTT rights have been acquired by Netflix for a substantial amount and it will soon be available on OTT platforms. Suriya and Pooja Hegde spill magic with their bang on chemistry.
