Sitaare Zameen Par’s strong Saturday collection
As per Sacnilk, Sitaare Zameen Par has collected Rs 21.00 crore at the box office in India. The film is outperforming its Friday numbers on Saturday, with a net collection of Rs 21.00 crore early estimates in India so far, taking its total to Rs 31.70 crore net. On its opening day, the film collected Rs 10.7 crore net in India. The film is directed by R. S. Prasanna and produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit. It stars Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh in the lead roles. The film is a sequel to the 2007 film Taare Zameen Par.
The film has shown improvement with the good reviews and positive response from the audience, it still remains unknown what the box office collection might be tomorrow and and first weekend total is eagerly anticipated. For context, Aamir Khan’s previous film, Laal Singh Chaddha, had collected Rs 18.96 crore net in India within two days of its release.
Kuberaa outperforms Friday numbers
As per Sacnilk, Kuberaa has Rs 16.00 crore at the box office in India on its second day of release. The film outperformed its Friday numbers on Saturday, which totals to Rs 30.75 crore net in India. The film is directed by Sekhar Kammula and stars Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh and Dalip Tahil.
