Aamir Khan starrer Sitaare Zameen Par has touched the hearts of the audience. The storyline has left everyone emotional, and Mr. Perfectionist has done it again! The film released on June 20 and is directed by R.S Prasanna. It also stars Genelia Deshmukh in a pivotal role. Apart from her, we have ten debutants in this movie. The special kids have been the most special part of the movie. It features Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar.

Sitaare Zameen Par box office collection day 2

Talking about the box office performance, the film earned Rs 10.7 crore net in India on its opening day. Now, as per Sacnilk, on its second day, it has approximately collected Rs 21 to Rs 22 crores on Saturday. This is a huge jump and takes the total to Rs 32 crore in just two days. We also have a Sunday ahead and hence, we might see the film crossing the Rs 50 crore mark.

The pre-sales for Sunday are reportedly good and hence, we can expect another big jump. This big growth on the second day has made up for the slow start. However, the film is also getting a tough competition from Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 5.

Housefull 5 slows down?

The film released on June 6 and has been entertaining the audience. It has good mixed reviews but the box office performance has been great. Until yesterday, the film had earned around Rs 170.16 crores. The film is getting slow day by day. On Saturday, as per Sacnilk, the film earned only Rs 2.25 crore. This takes the total to Rs 172.32 crore.

Looks like the Sitaare Zameen Par and Kuberaa effect has affected Housefull 5‘s smooth run in the theatres. Hence, it is going slow now. This is a big story in entertainment news.
